Helmut and his son Henrik are not professional pilots but both love flying and they have had many flying adventures together.

Helmut has a private pilot's license, but his only son Henrik does not: Henrik is too young - he is still at school, only 15 years old.

Helmut is a great character, ebullient, friendly, at times thoughtful, reflective. Dressed up in his red survival suit he looks a bit like Father Christmas.

Henrik is a bright, enthusiastic, very likeable young man, fluent in English and German. Already some inches taller than his father at just 15 years old, he is a quick learner and already knows how to fly a small airplane, even though he doesn't have a license.
