The Dream
The_Dream

The North Pole, the ultimate destination. Helmut and his son Henrik are not professional pilots but both love flying. They have had many flying adventures - however this is totally unique, a place where no small plane ever goes.

There is no land at the North Pole to 'land on': just mile upon mile of ice. The temperatures are a cool minus 30 degrees centigrade (-22 Fahrenheit) or colder; there are no navigation aids, virtually no chance of rescue - if something happens they are on their own.
They both know that they are taking one hell of a risk.
Is Helmut being selfish, rash even, to take his son on such a trip, when he knows well that there is a real chance that they may not survive?
